Are the active wild mushrooms that grow in Pennsylvania in Audubon's guide?

I live in Pennsylvania, and I am about to buy a mushroom field guide. Though I am interested in all types of mushrooms, I am especially interested in identifying active ones in my state. I thing I am going to buy the Audubon society's guide because I hear it is especially good for the east coast and it has good pictures.
My question is, can somebody who has the book and let me know it if has pictures and/or descriptions of the active mushrooms that grow in PA?
According to Shroomery's page, "Which psilocybin mushrooms grow wild in my area?", the active wild mushrooms in PA are:
Gymnopilus aeruginosus Gymnopilus junonius Gymnopilus luteofolius Gymnopilus luteus Panaeolus cinctulus Pluteus salicinus Psilocybe caerulipes Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata Psilocybe semilanceata (very rare)
I am asking these questions because I would hate to order it online, have it arrive, and realize that none of the active species that grow in my area are covered in the book.

That book has three actives in it from that state. You gotta love it for all the shrooms though, not just the active ones.

The Audubon will have:
Panaeolus subbalteatus (which the Shroomery lists as Panaeolus cinctulus) Gymnopilus spectabilis (which the Shroomery lists as Gymnopilus junonius) Psilocybe caerulipes Psilocybe semilanceata
We have a few PA hunters here that will be more than glad to help you.

At least Panaeolus cinctulus grows everywhere. Even in Pennsylvania.

From the digging around I've done, it's pretty rare even in NY. Gotta go way north. Tbh, I'm a bit perplexed by P. semilanceata's range.
Audubon's a pretty good one; just don't pay too much for it.

I'm gonna actually try and find some Psilocybe Semilanceata after the first frosts Danny, so if I find any I'll be sure to upload the pics. I live in Northeastern PA btw.

Thanks for the help! I will buy the book online tonight! (unless anyone here has a copy they are looking to sell?)
What would some fellow pennsyltucky folk say are the most commonly found active mushies in the state? I live in north central pa.

Of course! I am excited to start identifying all sorts of interesting fungus. I just want to make sure I get a guide that has active ones in my area, as well!
EDIT-----------------------------------------
Does anyone know anything about this book? Is it more detailed for the area than the Audubon guide?

You can look for Gymnopilus luteus, Gymnopilus spectabilis, Panaeolus subbalteatus and Psilocybe ovoideocystiata.
That book focuses on the most common mushrooms. I think the only active it lists is Gymnopilus spectabilis.

I forgot about those. I should mention you can look for any mushroom anywhere. Just because it hasn't been found doesn't mean it can't be.
I know a guy that found P. baeocystis in Maine. Can you imagine that?

You should start looking for Gymnopilus species, and Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata. We Pennsylvanians might have a few more weeks of the fall ovoid season left, and Gyms usually fruit till about November, depending on weather. As Mr mushrooms said,Just start checkin everything out,you may find something interesting.

I found if you go out with only the interest of finding actives you most likely will not find any.
I look at it like this, if you don't learn how to spot or look properly for any kind of mushroom, how are you to expect to find a small number of actives(especially here in PA)? It greatly lowers your chances.
"The Teacher comes when the student is ready". If you believe mycellium has a consciousness(paul stamets sure does:)), then you may find yourself more interested in even the little random things you find.
I used to only go out looking for actives like a year ago and I found slim to nothing. Now I go outside in my yard and get excited to find a lot of Lacrymaria's or go into the woods and admire the strange patterns on Polyporus's .
Get a guide though especially if your considering eating wild specimens. Also always take pictures and ask shroomery first. I consider myself a noob hunter, but I've had a lot of fun and am proud to be able to put "faces to names", even if only for a few kinds.
It's a lot of fun to learn and appreciate the nature around . I'd suggest growing first(if your primary interest is actives) but in your off time hiking. even though winter is rearing it's head there are plenty of fungii hanging out.

That's a lot of good ideas, smaerd. I don't know how it works with everyone, but my experience is like yours. However I imagine if you hunt cow pastures for cubes in a place known to have them, you don't need much hunting experience to find what you want. I was never a one species or one kind of species guy. I'm interested in mushrooms, most mushrooms. Only a few are boring to me. I was all kinds of excited because I found some Tubaria today.

Yeah I usually get excited too when I find mushrooms I've never seen before, I got Excited the other just finding Amanita Phalloides just because I've never seen em in person.
Most of the time when I go out hunting I'm never looking for actives or expecting to find them if I happen to run across them then I'm happy. The only mushrooms that actually bore me are Bolete's, they are all too plain.

I have two styles of hunting, Bret, and both are rewarding. Sometimes I hunt for a specific mushroom. I check out habitats focusing only on one mushroom species. When I find it, it is very rewarding. Makes me feel like I know what I'm doing.
The only is the Easter Egg approach. I'm just out to find mushrooms in general, photographing and spore printing most of what I find. I learn more on those hunts.
