 When Does Innocence Die?

Like, you look at a kid, and wonder "When did that die for me?" Kids are so innocent, like this little kid in a stroller was staring at me at work today like I was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Then I got to thinking, when do we lose our childhood innocence, where we are so happy and carefree and we couldn't give a shit about world problems or even problems at all because we are kids and it is all okay. Everyone has or had it, I think. When does it all go away? Sex Ed class? Do maturing emotions and pimples automatically mean depression and teenage angst? Perhaps it is only natural to become aware of everything that is fucked up in the world, and in doing so, lose our blissful childhood ignorance.

I think I know what you're getting at.
That's why I love to trip and roll, there are times with both that I totally feel like a little again. Just pure enjoyment of noticing something, even if it's something you see or do everyday. Or discovering new things that were right in your face the whole time, and it's fucking awesome.

when a girl breaks your heart, a loved one gets murdered, etc etc
but the real problem is that people are nihilistic so all they see is the negative, they don't see the whole picture, that negative and positive are one...mostly because they haven't really seen the positive  . People see death (and even life) as the ultimate blackness, instead of seeing the beauty in the fact that it could not possibly be any other way for life to be so wonderful.
Such is the life of those who live under the rule of reptilian overlords

yeah i dunno. i'd agree for me losing my bliss was from people dying and girls fucking with me. things not working out. winter coming every year.
after awhile you realize that's just the way life goes, and always will go.
