End of august camping trip
    #11182400 - 10/04/09 08:52 PM (8 years, 19 days ago)

Chants

Unsure, found growing on a base of an old tree. Really soft almost like flesh. Sponge like underside. Aprox. measurements were 2.5-3" wide cap. 2" tall.

The old man

Cinnabar chants. These and the chants were an awesome treat almost every night. I sauteed these up one evening with a lobster mushroom, a little red wine, garlic and butter. It was a good compliment to the spare tips we BBQ'd. I found a lot more than these. I am still uploading.

Peziza spp.

puff ball

Witches hat

I am trying to catch up on the pics since I haven't had internet in a while. I'll add some more as I go.

Nice finds! Kinda late in the season for black trumpets. Good eye! I think your green guy may be a Russula.

Nice, thanks for the ID.

Yeah, I thought it was late for the trumpets as well. They were brittle.
