We should have elected Al Gore
    #11182263 - 10/04/09 08:33 PM (8 years, 2 months ago)

Better than Bush or Obama, I think we all agree there.
Four years of Gore, then McCain runs- but not w/Palin. Gets reelected in 2008, we'd be in his second term.

So substitute one lying sack of shit for another lying sack of shit?

Awesome plan.

Al Gore as Prez?  Please.

He's a fucking wolf crier.

His b.s. 'global warming' crap.  And he's a big offender.  His carbon footprint is gigantic, for one person, and he's harping on us all.

We'd be in a worse boat if he'd've been/is ever elected.

What a piece of trash that man is.

Propoganda-ist.  Fucking pathetic attention whore, Al Gore is.

I post for entertainment purposes only, Nothing I say here is based in reality. After the last time the aliens came they transferred my brain into a glass dome with tentacles and im stationary, but my tentacles work great for typing! So I scan the internet 24/7 while being stuck in my glass jar imagining different things and posting dreams ive had as if they were real. I once drank 10 gallons of lsd and flew to the center of the galaxy where i learned that if i cover myself in dogshit totally I become invisible to the naked eye ! Its pretty cool, ever think you smell dog shit but cant find it anywhere? Then that was prolly me lurking behind you, b4 the damn aliens gave me tentacles and left me trapped in this damn dome!

Among other things, speaking of terrorist William Ayers:
Quote:

Obama: "George, but this is an example of what I'm talking about. This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who's a professor of English in Chicago who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He's not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis. And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense, George." (Sen. Barack Obama, ABC Democrat Candidates Presidential Debate, Philadelphia, PA, 4/16/08)

Except he wrote his book:
Quote:

Now, thanks to Jack Cashill, the literary mask has been removed. Obama is a literary pretender. Case closed. The evidence is overwhelming that Bill Ayers ghost-wrote Dreams from my Father, the book which established Obama's pose as a brilliant writer (and therefore a fine mind, in the estimation of many). The stylistic resemblance between the Dreams and Ayers' work is stunning. Now we know, thanks to Chris Andersen's new book, that Obama hit a brick wall trying to fulfill his contract to produce a book, and shipped off his notes and tapes to Ayers. That is the classic description of a ghost writer's assignment. And it completely fits the theories Cashill had inferentially reasoned from the data of his literary studies.

The revelation that Chris Andersen had two separate sources means that this fact meets the journalistic standard of reliability, provided by a respected, established bestselling author. Obama's dismissal of Ayers as "just a guy in the neighborhood" has been shown to be an outright lie.

There are two lies here.
1.  He didn't write the book as he claimed to have done
2.  He lied about the extent of his relationship with a known terrorist.

Quote:

Or Al Gore?

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2007/10/09/court-identifies-eleven-inaccuracies-al-gore-s-inconvenient-truth

Quote:

Here's something American media are virtually guaranteed to not report: a British court has determined that Al Gore's schlockumentary "An Inconvenient Truth" contains at least eleven material falsehoods.

I have no doubt that there are many many more.

Which is meaningless since popular vote does not elect the President.

He was a marginal number of votes away from winning an electoral victory, as well. I seem to remember a state where the results could have gone either way.

and states can decide how the electors vote, either with or against the popular vote

if the states didnt want him then they simply didnt want him

he won the electoral college too. but he didn't win the supreme court vote which is the one that counts..

regardless if you believe in global warming or not, why would someone be so against the idea of trying to make us an energy independent country along with trying to cut down on carbon emissions. i mean really, that can't hurt...

i'm not a fan of al gore, but had he won, we would not be in two wars right now. that trillion dollars could have been more wisely spent, or not spent at all.
