Ive tried a couple of them and both made me feel way too overwhelmed to concentrate on anything.

Hm, I have to strongly disagree with this. I find that an Indica makes me want to zone out while a sativa makes me a lot more focused. Only downside to the sativa high is I feel as though my inner dialogue takes over a lot.
