Looking for advice b/c of hallucs two days later

Hi all,

I took some mushrooms last Friday night and while I was playing some XBOX today, my vision started to go all funny for about 10 seconds.  I didn't think much of it but roughly every 5-10m now this is happening.

It's hard to describe because it's almost not a hallucation.  I can still see, but for example, if I look at my computer screen, I can't read anything that is on it.

I'm a bit freaked out because I've never had any residual effects like this and wondering now about everything from LSD laced mushrooms to having these effects for a long time..

This was the first time I had ever smoked some MJ prior to taking them and I think this was my 4th time taking them.

Should I go to the hospital and get checked out?  Maybe some blood work done?

maybe its aids.



Try drinking a ton of water to wash your system of any toxins. Wait a little while longer for the aids to become irreversable and then go to the dr.

Chill dude,it's most likely a mild flashback,give it a little time,if it interferes with your functionality then start worrying.Psychedelics do that to your vision sometimes.

BTW,you have mad blind-typing skillz

its either a flashback or HPPD.

if it doesnt go away/keeps occuring FREQUENTLY, you may have HPPD, in which case your stuck with it for a while likely

That is totally normal dude. Don't worry. It sounds like pot is the culprit. Marijuana always gives me mild visuals and stuff these days. If it persists when you are not on ANY drugs whatsoever, then I'd start to worry.

Don't bother going to a hospital either way, they won't be able to help you in any way.

If it starts to bother you just stop doing drugs for a while and it should go away.

Agreed, I pretty much start tripping every time I smoke cannabis now, without the ego loss. I think it's solely from smoking while tripping, because the first 8 times I tripped I just had mushrooms by themselves.  someone then mentioned it would help with the nausea.  I didn't really get nausea before, but I figured since I was gonna try to start taking bigger doses nausea might become an issue.
  Sure enough, a week after my next trip I was still experiencing visuals, especially while high.  This continued for a few months even without weed.  Now I'm back to normal but when I smoke I'll get mild visuals. 
  Does your vision just weirdly go out of focus and everything you see is just strange?  This happens to me from being high, not a lot, but it has occured.
  Best thing to do is just enjoy the fact that you're gonna get to trip for free for a while.  Don't let it annoy you or scare you because it only makes it worse.  learn to enjoy it and change it from HPPD to HPP.
