Make drugs legal, or alcohol and tobacco illegal. Either way it's more fair.

Just not the same, sometime I don't want to live. Easy way to sum that up. Depression is a long ways away in my mind.

suicidal?

LIVING is suicide. You have to let that part of you that can't take it all die. So that you can LIVE. Suicide isn't dying, it's perpetuating a cycle of lack of growth.

Don't you think that if you committed suicide, you would end up facing the same bullshit one way or another anyway? Killing yourself isn't going to solve anything, you have to get past the hurdle by shedding the part of you that loathes the hurdle. That hurdle is an inherent quality of the universe. But once you learn to accept things, and even embrace them/learn from them, let them make you stronger, you will learn that the darkness of the universe is like mercy itself.

Life is hard, but it has to be, to be so incredible. Because it is real, and precious. You are only seeing the negative, and only seeing yourself. It is all one already. Give up that self, and you will see that you are nobody, nobody to give yourself the authority to take your own life. Live for something greater than yourself, and you will experience the ultimate joy.

Whatever your situation is, believe me when I say, it gets better. You are already dead, so appreciate how wonderful it is to be alive, as rough as it may come. Let the part of you that experiences pain die off, and you will know how it really feels to be alive.

FAT MAN....ARISE!

I voted no because I think you should man up.

First, we should see you post multiple posts in the mental health forum about your debilitating depression.  Some elder shroomerite/pothead/flowerchild has to take you under their wing and try to coax you back to good vibes.

Second, good vibes ensue.

Third, depression relapse.  Bad vibes all the way.  We put you on suicide watch while we discuss amongst ourselves if you're going to make the fortnight.

Next, you go to jail for growing pot and disappear from the boards.  We all assume that you offed yourself.  We will feel remorseful.

Last, you post bond, return to the boards, and tell your retarded "got busteD for growingSZ" tale.  We don't like that we thought you killed yourself and put you on nignore.

I'm happy with depressed.

Maybe it's just being lonely. Hm. Life just gets to me sometimes.

It feels like a hurdle to be happy. It always has been, but the barriers keep getting bigger.

To the guy above me. I haven't posted here in a long time, I read the news here daily. But I'd be surprised if you remember me from so long ago. So your probably thinking I'm someone else?

And this was not ment to be a whine. I just wanted to vote for a little suicide mood icon.

Good day sir.

I noticed in another thread you mentioned MDMA...that can deplete your serotonin, which will make you feel depressed beyond your control... I don't know how much you've taken, or how much that has to do with it, but that is something that time will heal. If that is the main cause, just remind yourself that it's a lack of your natural happy chemical, shrug it off, and press on until you heal.

Otherwise, you need to see past your self, and forget about what you are lacking NOW, and focus on what you can do to achieve what you want in the LONGterm, by working diligently towards it. Don't expect instant gratification, just be content to know that in the future you very well can experience happiness, especially if you take initiative and do something productive with your miserable period that you are now experiencing.

"as lonely as a flower in hell
lost as a penny in the wishing well
is there space enough
in your head
for heaven, baby of course there is
we're all as mad as the man in the moon
who carries his heart in a brown paper bag
Do you remember your soul?"

Take it all in stride. See past your lonesome self. It's only the end of the world again. Laugh like the dead would laugh. Life is good

I forgot to mention...

Let the light of the possibility of the future give you contentment with your present darkness.

A sort of analogy I like to use is:  Well, at least you're not in jail. Whatever it is that you're dealing with, hey, at least you're not in jail...and if you WERE? what are you gonna do, make yourself miserable over it? that does nothing of any value. Make the most of your jail time, do something productive, and let the fact that you will one day be back in the outside world give you inner peace. Especially let the fact that you will see the sun shine again someday give you the peace of mind to actually do something with your time now, that will help you in the future.

Like I said, don't expect instant gratification. It might be hard work, and it might be a lonely process, but hard work towards something truly valuable always pays off a lot more than instant gratification anyway.

I haven't done drugs for a couple years but I did used to do a lot. Besides vicodin, and some drinking lately.

Its just that. I was kicked out of school at 15, parents never cared about me, was on probation from 16-17, been working since I was 15, my friends come and go, i went to college but I can't afford it, I work for almost minimum wage, I pay more rent to my parents than I would in a apartment, there is noone I feel I can trust besides my childs mother, my child's mother left me but still talks to me, my child's mother wont let me see my daughter and I don't know where she lives, the court won't call me, email me back, or even set an appointment up so I can talk to them in person about getting child rights, I haven't seen my daughter in 1 year. She's about to be 1 year and 6 months old, the only thing I own is my car, I only have one outfit I can wear to work, the only thing anyone I know wants to do anymore is drink, or do drugs, everyone I know is going places, and I feel I haven't moved in years, most of my childhood I spent drunk, or high.

I play with the cards I'm dealt.

The OT was not meant to be a cry, but thank you.
