my mom,  she grew 2 last year, they both made it over winter, and she knows i love hot stuff, so she gave me 1 early spring and its still going strong.

it would be great if it will go another year, i'll save some seeds just in case it doesn't

A genius idea to dry them. Later you may grind it up and sprinkle it over pasta or pizza. Magnifique!

I recommend, if you already haven't that is, eating your first with a fork and knife raw to see how it tastes without any outside influence.

the only time i have eaten them was fresh from the plant (HOT)
i ate one in front of my friend and didn't flinch, to fool him in to thinking not hot, and then gave one to him, boy did he curse me up and down:evil: :lmafo:

seed link?

ha!
My jalapeño plant is flowering again and last time I only got one pepper (really small plant). I put it on a pizza and now I regret not munching at least half of it raw.

So a little dab will do ya, eh? That would be great for an ethnic potluck or something, you make a side sauce with your bolivian rainbow peppers.

wow, it has three different names, i didn't know that, i guess it's safe to just call it Bolivian rainbow.

i make Chile often, and i always take a bite out off the peppers i'm using at the time.

1 or 2 look about ready to sample, maybe tomorrow i'll punish myself a little.

brainiac i could not get into that seed site, but google gave me all kinds of seed info

i'll put 4 or 5 peppers aside for you guys if you would like to grow some of these bad boys

I would LOVE that!
They look absolutely beautiful even without the bonus of how tasty they sound.

yeah, they are small, but they do bite,  the whole plant is small, witch is kinda nice, as i will be able to move it around from window to window in the winter to get the best sun:shrug:
