small brown/tan spot w/pics

i have this little tannish colored area on the bottom of my cake. the pics make it out to be bigger and grosser than it really is due to the light bouncing around in the jar. there isn't a hard edge where a normal contam would be. is this just metabolites? or is it rubbish?

Can't really tell with the picture quality, but it could be in vitro pinning. Those jars look past due for birthing.
