If we truly were All One...
    #11175174 - 10/03/09 03:55 PM (8 years, 16 days ago)

It would only take one person to realize this for everyone to realize this.

Comprende?

You're missing the point of what oneness is.

It means all words are there for you to learn from but they in themselves are not wisdom. Wisdom is self-realised within your consciousness.

And then you'll know that all these words are dual by nature. So if all is one or two or many is not the point. The point is to make a turning within your mind. Not to become captivated by word teachings.

Once we use language to communicate our perception of oneness we alter that perception.

Wholes are generally made up of parts, each with their own function.
Some functions overlap and some are completely distinct.
Regardless, they are still a part of the same whole.

and you know this how? I'm going to assume you know this a priori otherwise any attempt to teach it to you would be altered and thus false, right?

for example:
assuming is one way your perception is altered in this case.  Do you assume as much about yourself as you do others?

How do I know what? the origional quoted comment in these replies?

If so then it is because; I can not communicate many of my thoughts(?) with language. therefor it is true to me, regardless of what percentile of humankind I fall into. :confused2:

added**
also, your psyche or whatever you want to call the everything that has built your beliefs of everything up until this exact moment.  Your psyche will take what I say and filter it, that filter alters its perception.  because the perception is mine, just as much as your perception is yours.

If I had to write a book on Oneness it would contain one word... Acceptance
