been out of the loop a while

well i have been out of the loop a while and tryin to get rid of some of this rust and have been noticeing alot of posts using the term "dunking" any one care to enlightin me on the subject???? thanx

in between flushes, you "dunk" your sub or cakes in water, drain it.. next flush is much stronger than it would have been. The process is described here for bulk.. dunk and roll for cakes

keep it submerged for 12-24 hours. itll rehydrate.

The way it works...


When the cake or colonized substrate is submerged in water the pressure acting on the substrate will allow water to be forced into the cells of the mycelium expanding them with water and allowing for a better performance for your next flush. Also known as Osmosis.
