From the purdy sparklies on the cap, I would like to say Coprinellus micaceus.

Ok thanks alot guys. So I'm guessing it doesn't contain psilocybin?

I'll have to go and look different ones

Thanks!

You don't mean those back specks do you? Because there just bits of dirt and the clear ones are sand I think.

Coprinellus micaceus.
And no, they do NOT contain any psilocybin. You are doing this wrong. Picking random mushrooms and hoping they'll make you trip is not how it works. We can continue this game for a hundred years without you ever finding anything active. You gotta know what you are looking for and then go out looking for it. That means it'll take some information gathering work on your part before you actually get to hunt the actives. Of course you can always decide to let us do all the work by simply throwing random mushrooms at us, but you are less likely to get nice and qualified responses that way and you are unlikely to find anything active, too.

Look for Psilocybe subaeruginosa. It's too late in the year to find them now, wait till April 2010.

Sorry man, I sort of knew these weren't what I'm looking for, I wouldn't have bothered picking it up but it was the only one I saw, wrong season too. If I saw some sort of psilocybe I'd know.
