Wood-lovers Q
    #11171794 - 10/02/09 10:20 PM (8 years, 20 days ago)

If I made a makeshift hardwood chip jar, and mixed in brf(just to fill the hollow spots) would a wood lover such as a wine-cap colonize this? I would spawn from the jar to more wood chips(after full colonization), I just want a way for MS to really get a hold of the wood chips.

Idk try it out and let me know if it works.

Sure thing, I already made up the jars. I figure if it can't colonize the brf it'll get the wood right? I don't see why it wouldn't colonize the brf a little even if it wasn't ligenous.

Yea, also make sure you don't add to much water. It might be hard to keep a track of if its in woodchips.
