i was just wondering if anyone has used this stuff for casing. If u have does the time released nutrients help with bigger flushes The stuffs called "Multicote" supposed to feed for 9 months.... stuffs good, contains -Sphagnum Peat Moss, Perlite, Water Holding Crystals Also im thinking i wouldnt need to make a 50/50 mix since its already got the crystals. any ideas, and or comments would greatly be appreteated, -------------------------------------------NO FLAMES

"does the time released nutrients help with bigger flushes"

as far as i heard most people try to avoid any kind of fertilizer in casing material. as i understand it isn't used by mushrooms which have little relation to plants.

Yah ive heard the same when it is related to miracle grow and shit, but this is all organic. basically releases nitrogen, Phosphate, and potash wich shouldnt be bad for the mushrooms... i was just wondering if any on had any information towards finding wat Nutrients that MUSHROOMS actually take in and would thrive with an abundance of..

Sorry- that mix is not organic. I think there has been some previous discussion on the polymer crystals. The general concensus seemed to be against. Leaching of chemi-kills or something.
