I used to think India was an awesome place. But it's going in a direction which is making it become a giant toilet. Luckily the monsoons come by every year and flush this toilet.
I'm not hating, but just being realistic. The mountains are probably awesome.

Go to India man, it's worth it.
For me I would like to hop between these two, as I felt necessary:
Some small mountain village in the Nepali/Indian Himalaya.
And some cabin action in interior B.C.

Queen Charlotte Islands is great man...but expensive ferry ride and still rather populated....as much as i LOVE***** BC, there is no escaping the chainsaw, even in haida gwai 
my sister lives there and seems to love it.
i came to asia to do this as well, ended up getting married adn working and basically back to the every day grind. but things do that and work out weird wonderful ways. now i am farming a long chunk of land on an overpopulated tropical island with countless drug species abound  life is good, if not perfect.
although scary drug laws, if you come to asia you gotta check out malaysia man...i loved it there.
