Becoming a man
    #11166690 - 10/01/09 10:07 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

I'm going through some changes fellas.. I honestly feel like I'm becoming more of a man. I have left my wiggerish childhood state and am registered for college. Have a 2nd interview on monday for a great job. I know it sounds dumb but reading some of what you guys do/go thru in life helps alot.

I feel as if me being around the likes of you guys helps me grow - thanks

To the future gentleman - DT

23.  I'm nowhere near fully mature, but in relative terms - I've noticed big differences.

I recently turned 26 and have noticed my own growth and maturation at times, dissociating from myself in moments of reflection and seeing how I've changed over the years. It makes me really happy about time, and growing older. It's a fascinating process. It's THE process. Rock on.

Fuck yeah.  Continual improvement FTW.  Realizing you're alwyas a little bit more happy whyen you were 6 months ago is one of the best feelings in the world.  Ensure it's perpetual.

Things start changing pretty fast once you can buy alcohol.

Just think, the next age related fortuitous event will be a car insurance price drop at 25.

After that, it's when you can sign up for an AARP card.

it always seems clear in retrospect.. whenever i think to myself that i'm changing, growing older, etc, i look back and realize i was too deep inside my own head to realize what was going on. the only changes i can see for sure are cumulative. i'm 26 and don't feel any different than 25. but the 22 year old me is a stranger.

Oooh, so you finally admit you're a wigger after many failed attempts at trying to sound tough.

Good job, you have a small sliver of respect from me.

I really hope I am a different person when I am 26.

I dont think I will be so lucky as to look back and see that I am happier now.

I have always been depressed, probably always will be.

Unless I'm on shrooms, then I am happy.

Birthdays are fuckin stupid honestly.  Being the center of attention is fun... as is getting super hammered and acting like a jackass.  However, I don't see how rotating the sun is such a cause for angry relatives bitter because they didn't receive a card... wtf?! :justdontknow:

Whenever I have a birthday I "Level Up", so my innate Druid abilities just keep getting stronger.  Aw yeah.
