What to do?

So, I have enough jars fully colonized to do two tubs. I also have a few jars for G2G, but they're between 95-99% colonized. Should I make the 2 tubs and wait for a few more days to G2G, or should I make 2 tubs a bit short, use the extras to G2G and run a third tub next week?

Does 8 jars + 1 brick of coir + 1 qt Verm + 1 qt Castings sound like a good ratio?

When you say "castings", I'm assuming your talking about worm castings. Either way, I brick of coir will yield about 3 gallons of bulk once hydrated. The ratio that I'm comfortable and have been using for years is a 50/50 mix of coir and verm. With that being said, I think you could be "cheating" yourself by using that ratio. I think you could double the verm and castings and Yield much much more in the end. Remember, that Mushies are over 90% water. Doubling the verm and casting will require that much more water to bring to "Field capacity". The added bulk will require a larger tub and provide more moisture and surface area for one hell of a grow.

Well, as it sits, I did one tub and I'm about to go pasteurize bulk for another. In my bucket I have 1 brick of coir, 1 qt worm castings, 1 cup gypsum, 1 qt verm.
Do you have a good ballpark for water/casting and water/verm ratio for field capacity?
The original mixture with 4.5 qts water seemed a bit on the dry side, but my first attempt at bulk was water logged, so I really don't know either.
I also have some coffee, but its not spent (I don't drink coffee, just picked up a tub today for using coffee for rye and spent grounds for bulk). Would you suggest putting some new coffee grinds in there for... whatever?

You probably need about another 1/.2 QT of water in there. Add that and see how it measures up to "field capacity". Add a cup of water at a time until you get the desired consistency.

Thanks!
If I over saturate it, can I add in more verm post pasteurization? I don't really have a decent way to get water out(i know, i know, I need to buy a pillow case).
