i guess i'm living here for now. but this isn't my home. and it's very temporary. growing my own isn't an option. if i actually lived here, i totally would. there's so many friggin places i could. i think about it quite often.

i wanna do with that budda and mushrooms. my town is mad small and most the weed smokers around here aren't clever enough to grow their own. mushrooms sound easy to make also- wanna do that too.
i would never consider doing anything illegal though, so it is probably time to move to amsterdam or california

I've noticed that once you hit a certain population density it doesn't really change much. The only real difference I notice between living where I do now, and when I lived in Cincinnati or Boston is the lack of extremely tall buildings.

Yeah, there's not many tall buildings here either. Just a cluster of them in the middle. Mostly uber urban sprawlzz, everything is spread out.
Not having a car sucks

Ohhh it changes quite a bit. I live in the NYC metro area which, according to wiki, has a population of 18,815,988. There are so many different areas with different people and different income brackets within the metro area I couldn't even begin to list them all.
To the OP: My ex had the same problem when she moved. She used www.meetup.com and couchsurfers.com and also met people via coworkers. Might wanna try getting a job at a bar and/or restaurant if you're looking for people into the "drug culture."

Yeah I mean there's buses and shit.. but fuck the bus. What takes a car 20 minutes, the bus takes 2 hours.
It's bike friendly where I live but this city is fucking huge in terms of square miles or whatever. I don't even go downtown, westside is where it's at.
Although yeah I go everywhere on bike too. Happy there's lots of bike trails and lanes here.
And taco trucks FTMFW 
Also, there's this place on the boardwalk right down the street where you can get botox and medical marijuana in the same building.!

 I just looked it up and the NYC metro area has a higher population than 46 of the states in the US.

EDIT: damn, there are only 532,668 people in Wyoming. That's only a little bit more than the Gainesville metro area...and this isn't even a very big city.

The trick is to find an interest that isnt drug related but attracts the types of people who use drugs.
