Yes, at one time.  But I just couldn't get my post count up to the level of Pris or HB.

I have, but then I just grew up and became a self-loathing and respectable American.

Nothing more annoying than youngsters with hope.  :nonono:

As of this time, that I am typing to you, on this space ship we call "planet earth", I have felt destined for greatness. Every moment is a great gift. :rocket:

As I grew wiser and thought about it more, I realized there was nothing more futile than spending one's life to be remembered, only to die and have it not mean shit.

Let me be clear, when I say greatness, I mean LEGENDARY, we are talking Alexander the Great, Caesar, Jesus, etc.

Honestly, I'd like to achieve that kind of status, but I fear that if I go around expecting it, then I'll never achieve it, and people will think I'm an arrogant prick for thinking that way.  And they'd be right.

'Greatness' is a state of mind, and therefore it is irrelevant if anyone does or does not feel great. If someone suffers from delusions of grandeur, or has an ego the size of the sun- what they believe may not be in sync with the way they are perceived by society(or a consensus of some sort).

This question holds no merit, sorry. It's just a thread asking about our self-esteem and ego.

There was a few who could hear. Of those who could hear only a few understood. Of the ones who heard and understood only a few applied the knowledge. We should all be the best we can. We may never leave a mark in history. But each lifetime is a piece of the greatest picture.

What if I am interested to know about other people's self esteem/ego? You can use semantics to avoid answering the question if you want but I would rather you just didn't post if your only purpose is to tread on me. I was interested to know how important public esteem in the present and future is to people, and what people would do to gain such esteem, Lastly I was interested to know how common delusions of grandeur are amongst the good people of the shroomery.

I wasn't trying to argue/attack you, just expressing my opinion. To answer your question, I believe that self-esteem is extremely important and critical to an individual's future. However, one must keep his or her feet on the ground, and remain realistic with expectations.

Usually, the sole dreamers are the one who fail. There has to be a considerable amount of action/effort to follow through with a dream or goal in order to be deemed worthy by the person himself, AND society.

I think I would like to have that status as well, but only if it came through me doing something that I enjoy, and without "greatness" being my main motivation for doing that task.

You have to understand that you are everything and nothing.  There is a difference between knowing you have a unique power to make  miracles happen, and thinking that you are somehow above the miracle that is happening.

I still feel destained to greatness honestly.

Two goals of mine are to legalize marijuana  and  make a indie records  that people will catch onto  and spread around for millions of years to come  because they are so good...

I think the Shamanstic approach towards greatness is the best way to go,  lose your ego  and go with the flow.  the world has a way of putting things together  .

i think the person that ends the war on drugs will be the next revolutionist, it would be pretty big to stop teh arrest of millions/billions of people all over the world

sometimes I smoke Cannabis  when I feel like I need to do something revolutionary but have no way to go about it..............  but like someone said before me-  We are all nothing and Everything - in the end we all die and the World will be destroyed pretty soon anyway

The thing is, I don't think any one person is going to legalize cannabis.  It will likely be legalized on a state-by-state basis before it finally gets legalized at the federal level.

that is true technically.  But I have a dream of some kind of huge Revolution/Collabartive thing happening with a powerful leader.  like the way Martin Luther King made shit go down
