Bacterial Blotch - still ok to eat?
    #11159324 - 09/30/09 09:07 PM (8 years, 24 days ago)

I think the last batch I picked suffered from some bacterial blotch.  They are drying now and I'm wondering if these would still be ok to eat?  Looks similar to this on the caps:

Did a search and found out it's OK to eat when dried.

Just a thought, and I'm no expert, but I would think that soaking/submerging it in rubbing alcohol for a little while would kill off most if not all the bacteria and for the most part leave the fungal flesh intact. Would probably have a nasty after taste though.
