my dial hygrometer is reading over 100%

ive grown from bags before and a heated propagator
this is my first terrarium grow
ive calibrated it and re-calibrated it and put it in my terrarium and it is reading over 100 can this be right?
i birthed my cakes 4 days ago and still waiting for pinning my terrarium gets a half hour of filtered air 4 times a day and is sitting at around 20o C do i need more heat or does this sound right to you guys
All tips and advise welcome/thanx

Is it a digital one? i suggest going out and buying the 2 dollar white analog one that tells temp and rh.  Those work alot better than the digital ones...

its an analog dial hygrometer and the needle has gone passed 100 its brand new

Calibrate it to 98% with a damp towel, then go from there.

calibrate to read 99% by wrapping in a damp towel and adjust after 1 hour.

Filtered air? you dont need filtered air. fruiting conditions dont need to be sterile, more often than not filtering air just reduces FAE.

FAE is very imprtant and its also a defence against contamination. If your fruiting cakes, build a shotgun fruiting chamber

mine usually reads 402% on a dry day
