Large grain sub vs fine grain sub. Growth
    #11158005 - 09/30/09 05:32 PM (8 years, 9 months ago)

large/fine grain refer to texture, the substrates are BRF/VERM.

Ive noticed that I have 2 textures throughout my jars, from having to mix for more jars...

Oddly, and I dont know if this is known or it might just be random but... the jars that seem to be lighter packed, or have larger air pockets seem to be producing small dense growth and the others, which where ground more finely (brown rice/verm) seem to be making a cloudlike thats spreading faster.

Anyone have any thoughts...

not as far as i know. it is because you use a multi spore syringe as i said each time they germinate it has differant genetics witch is why they look differant
