How colonized should a casing be?
    #1115333 - 12/05/02 07:52 PM (21 years, 3 months ago)

I've had my casing in the incubator for nearly a weak now at 88 degrees, there are some strands of mycellium poking through, but in most pictures I see the casing looks nearly 100% white. Exactly how much of the casing layer needs to be colonized before placing in the fruiting chamber?

Its alright, it can be confusing at times, and there is alot of conflicting views on this subject, in fact, today I was reading a post by Vatoloco, and he said he just cases and throws it in the fruiting chamber. Good Luck.

I just took a closer look at my casing and decided it was the perfect time to fruit, I can't wait.

I`m going to try and get a camera for a few hours so I can take a shot of the T3 flushing off dung/straw.
You gotta see my kids
These T3 are great man.

Hell yeah, I really want to see those biotches.   Man, I wish I had a camera so I could show you my last T3 flush.  The pinset was epic, but the fruits were so small, and their stipes were all gnarly, kinda like L.S.O.S.  logo.  But oh well, I got around 14 g dry off a 2 1/2pint casing, not amazing, but not bad, considering how small the damn things were.  I can't wait to fruit the big tub of straw that's currently colonizing with birdseed colonized by T3, when it does fruit, we can compare sizes, hehehe.
