dry ice for drying?

anyone ever heard of using dry ice to dehydrate magic mushies? i was talking to an "old skooler" today and he mentioned something about dry ice dehydrating mushrooms really fast. any truth to that?

Don't worry about it, and its cool that you meant to delete one of them, it just sometimes we get these people that post in like 4 different forums at once, and that leads to clusterfucks. No worries.

well, what he's typing about is, i posted this question in here first, then posted it in the advanced cultivation room too. before i had a chance to delete it, i had to make a beer run for someone. so the same question was posted in two different places.

didn't mean to "disrespect" you mental by not replying to everyone else's posts. but hey, can't please everybody. i know i don't have room to talk b/c i messed up by cross-posting (because i forgot to delete this one) but i do have replies, just look in the advanced forum (like skikid already mentioned), or even in here, there's replies in here.

I'll tell you what you can use that dry ice for - let it slowly sublime (turn to gas) from a shelf above your mj plants. They just love that CO2.
I don't see how dry ice would do anything to dry out a wet lump of fungus.

i always fan dry mine then put them in a rubbermaid containor and use epson salt to dry em the rest of the way

IN the mushroom cultivation section there is a tek involving dry ice to dry your mushies, go look fir it. You'll find it.

I was reading a post about drying with dry Ice. Anyone hear of this.
