FC temp

Incubate brf cakes in a drawer at room temp, which is around a constant 77 degress.  My Shotgun FC is now 60 degrees, I can raise temp if need be, but I didnt cold shock so pinning is taking a while, so I dropped the temp.  I think 60 might be too low tho.

Too much of a drop?

when its cold, your humidity will be low.
fix the humidity and you should get booooomas

Sweet, humidity is stayin 95 to 100, so no worries there.

I've always had my fruiting chamber between 70-78 degrees and everything has been going smoothly! See what RR says!

how long since you birthed the cakes?

did you dunk?

and is there a reason you dropped the temps

Birthed the cakes last Wednesday

Dunked for 24 hours in room temp

And I lowered the temp in worries that I wont see pins for a long time with no temp drop from incubation to FC.

Just nervous with this first grow I guess.

You don't need to cold shock cubes.

Room temp is fine to fruit at. They will fruit/grow at lower temps--some even say that they are more potent when grown in colder temps--but they will grow more slowly.

My friend prefers to fruit at 68-74 F, which has seemed to work the best.
