I assume you checked it for rot when you repotted it.  ...you could try putting it in the shade, but I dont have high hopes for that plan. Theres really nothing you can do.

A bridgesii cutting I have made a lot of roots, but it doesn't grow much and is getting very dehydrated... I tried watering it and it doesn't seem to want to drink (it has a lot of roots by now, so there's no risks for rot if i water it)

First, that isn't a lot of root for it to be able to take up much water.
Second, it could be any of the above reasons. It could also be that the soil is draining so quickly that the roots don't have much time to soak up water.
When I first moved to texas, where the sun is unbearably hot, my potted pedros shriveled quite quickly and it took two weeks of daily watering to get them plump again, so I had to remove them from their quick draining soil and plant them into the ground, which is nothing more than heavy clay that doesn't drain well.

But remember, if you keep watering a lot, make sure that the soil dries completely before watering again so that the roots don't rot. Pachanoi is quite resistant to this, but it is possible.

i would worry about rot as well.  cacti can absorb water quite easily through the skin when the stoma are open, which is when its not hot (aka at night)....so you can give them a mist on their skin to help rehydrate as well.

unless the substrate is totally dry inbetween, i wouldnt keep watering over and over.
