    #11152324 -

Habitat: Grass in a baseball field growing out of the ground.

Gills: A salmon color. Gill spacing is close. The is a presence of short-gills.

Stem: Whitish. 1/2cm wide. Not hollow, but has a

Cap: Cream to light brown in center, the top is flaky like an agaricus bisporus, not hygrophanous, ~one inch in diameter.

Spore print color: a light brown varying to a pinkish color

Bruising: No color change was observed.

Location: Picked in north western USA

A very minuscule faint almond smell, but I don't want that to be included in ID if not necessary because of how subjective scents are.

I'm going to try my best to get some pictures asap. I don't own a camera, so I have to bum one from a friend.

Yeah, pics would help.

Make sure it's not Agaricus praeclaresquamosus, the western flat-topped agaricus, it'll make you sick.

this look like it?

He said it smelled like almonds, not phenol. It sounds like some sort of edible Agaricus sp. to me, but wait for an expert.

Pictures are up. I believe these are all the same mushroom as they were in the same place, but I know that doesn't make that true. Rather, I think the last three photos are ones of an older specimen.

If it smells good, it is definitly an edible Agaricus sp.

Feel free to wait for a TI, but as long as it doesn't smell like chemicals, bleach, or ink, then it is fine to eat.

Are you sure the spore print color was light brown or pink?  Agaricus should be dark chocolate brown.

No I wasn't sure. When I took it it was a light spore print. I just went out to throw it away and under the cap was a dark brown spore-print, I just forgot to update it. Thanks!
