Sounds suspicious. I wonder how paying them $150 for a class will help you - you know better then they do what marketable skills you do and dont have.
How long is the class?

It's only a 3 week class. The more I think about it, the more I think I'm beyond this. I just need to work on my confidence. The wife suggested it since my hope as of late has been next to nothing.
Job Search and Employment Skills
Study of the skills required to obtain and maintain a job. Topics include standard applications for employment, interview procedures, working with placement agencies, personal appearance and attitudes, employer expectations, and employer/employee relations, as well as writing a resume and cover letter.

Which of those topics do you feel deficient in?
Also, what kind of job are you looking for, any old entry level gig or a certain kind?

I'm an IT professional. I've worked in the industry for over 10 years, but I've let my skill set get too broad. Most would think this to not be a problem, but it's like being a jack of all trades and a master at none. I'm trying to figure out how to re-market myself and pick something that I Want to specialize in, then go for the hardcore certifications.
I'm deficient in the interviewing process. I'm not that great at selling myself because I'm really not that enthusiastic.
I suppose I could use some help on my resume, but everyone says "I can look at your rez" then when I show them, they are like "looks good to me" , but in actuality, it's overcomplicated.
