Yah man, what the hell? It's hard to feel sympathetic for you with that attitude, probably pissed the guy off or something.

I can't blame anyone but myself, but by no means am I stupid or deserved to lose it I feel. I had it in my pocket yesterday, forgot about it, and then today I was playing disc golf and it occurred to me so I checked and it was gone. I have no idea how it could have fallen out of these pants even, the pockets are pretty deep, one of the two buttons were snapped so it shouldn't have come open. Damn...

edit: Well you clearly edited that to tone it down. It was L though, I have taken some last week from the same guy whom I trust rather well. Doesn't really matter though, I'd be just as pissed about losing some DOC. The point is it cost me money which I'm now out of. I can always buy more, but I can't buy more w/o money.

Well I went over my friends house yesterday, and I'm 95% sure it was in my pocket then. The only thing I did over his place that I can imagine would cause it to fall out was sit down in a single chair, the rest of the time I was standing.

After that I came home and layed on my bed and did some shit around here, again it could really only have fallen out while I was laying on the bed or sitting at my desk, both of which I'd still be surprised if it happened. Took my pants off and went to sleep.

This morning I wokeup, put the same pants on, and afaik all I've done is sit at the computer or played disc golf. Oh, I also checked all around my truck, it's not there. When I went to play disc golf I can't imagine it falling out either. All I did was practice my putting for an hour or so, didn't even leave the practice basket. So after I got home and didn't find it I drove back there to check around on the off chance somehow it would have just.. flown outta my pocket, but nope. It's also really windy though, so I think if it did fall out there it'd be gone.

I dunno... I'm going to look around the house some more, but.. I think I'm going to have to write this one off.

Yah, he just called me a couple minutes ago after looking around. Like... I didn't go anywhere. I moved almost as little as possible the last ~18 hours and somehow I still lost it.

The only other possibility is I put it somewhere and forgot about it. I don't know why I'd do such a thing though, I have a place I normally keep it.

I mean, I'm responsible in the sense that I should have taken it out of my pocket when I got home. I'd blame luck for the loss more than anything, but as far as people go that's on me.

The only person I came across was my one friend the whole time, he didn't even know it was in my pocket and I'd be surprised if I wouldn't notice his hand going through my pants anyways lol.

I was kinda drunk/buzzed last night, so maybe I just wasn't thinking strait and put it somewhere. Gah.. I don't know.

Alex Grey's, but I don't like to keep acid on me anyways. Unless I'm taking it, selling it, or giving it away it always stays in it's place. At least for the most part.

Nah, I don't think so. He sounded surprised I even had it on me when I told him. He also believes lots of myths and stuff, so the first thing he said was to express genuine concern that it could be absorbed into his skin and he's just randomly trip one day and not know it lol. I assured him that's not possible, but I don't know if he believed me or not, citing 'that's how that one guy went insane that time.'

Still, I'd give it a 2% chance he would take it if he found it, but I'm very doubtful it even fell out. I'm starting to think it's 50/50 whether I even had it in my pocket. I just can't see how a big sheet like that could make it's way out of my pocket. I've had much smaller amounts in more precarious places and it never fell out. For one I had I think 3 hits in my backpack, in a much less secure pocket, and I also would toss that backpack all around, throwing it on the ground at every teebox when I play golf, and nothing ever happened to it. I just don't know. It's one of those great mysteries I suppose.

I lost my stash a while ago. I went to look for it and it just wasn't there.Instead there was this white paste. It disintegrated. I think it got wet somehow.:frown:

Does anyone know if modern cigarette "cellophane" would disintegrate with water?  I thought they changed to something plastic?

edit: By now I've torn the truck apart (and cleaned it in the process, looks nice). Also looked more or less all over my apartment. Haven't stripped it down, but I moved the bed looked all under it, took the sheets off, I just don't know what I could have done with it short of it falling out of my pocket. I just can't believe it would have fallen out though. This is crazy man.

Ok, first of all, sorry for your loss, I'd be freaking out if I lost that much LSD.

Secondly, you kind of deserved it. You don't really treat your acid with respect at all. I don't mean the whole "respect the drug" thing, I mean, you are literally asking to lose it. You left 3 hits in a backpack that you were tossing around? Thats just asking to have it fall out a be gone ( -1 good trip right there). Then you took a half sheet and kept it in your fucking pocket. Even if you were planning to trip, the most you should be carrying is the amount you plan to use, so why did you have 50 hits on you. It just doesn't really seem like you are using any common sense in caring for your acid. Even if you didn't lose it, keeping it in your pocket instead of in tinfoil in a book is just asking to lose potency.

I remember that story. That was a decent while back.

I believe he had a book in his room he kept his acid in, figured no one would look there. One day he came home to find out his mom took a bunch of books down to some place for a book sale/giveaway. As I remember he never got it back, but I don't know if maybe he updated it later or something.
