How to store unused syringe?

I'm only planning to do 5 cakes, so I would still have 5 cc left of the liquid spore in my syringe, so do I just seal it with the plastic cap and store it in my drawer? Will it get any contamination?

i put mine in a ziplock and in the fridge. specifically the butter tray, keeps my mother-in-law on her toes when she visits. :punish: :biggrin:

You are gonna save a "Used" syringe for later use? I've not done it, I squirt the unused portion out. I use the 18 gauge needles and I know material gets packed in there, I'd worry about contams running up the needle into the solution, I'd rater make a new batch of syringes rather then jars..People probably do it everyday, just the risk in my opinion is to great.

I store mine in the crisper, no one ever goes after the veggies.
