I fail =(
    #11143925 -

I totally missed an exam today. This has never happened to me. I rolled into class, and everyone has a note sheet and a scantron with them, and i litterally mumbled to my self "oh fuck". I dipped out of the class, i tried not to get seen by the professor, but i think he saw me.

I ran straight to our health center, faked a illness, got a note excusing me. But im not sure if its enough. I dont know if im Fucked yet, but damn today sucks ass. I cant believe i did that.

hopefully i can make it up. i need you guys to pray for me. maybe the karma gods can help me out.

Karma has nothing to do with gods.  It's all about intention man. looking at it from a morality standpoint, going in and faking a sickness is based on dishonesty, so yeah that is not going to help you.  You cannot get good energy while manifesting negative energy.

Last time I missed an exam, I didn't even bother trying to make up an excuse. I was just straight up with my professor and admitted I fucked up. He let me take it the following Monday.

Not some mystical force, but just the way things work.  Have good intentions, and more so you will have good outcome.  That is not to say if you have 100% good intentions all the time life will be grand all the time, Life is dynamic and always changing, but if you do your best, and keep good intention, good mindfulness, you will cultivate positives in your life as well as build stronger relationships with people.

Has nothing to do with superstitions, or mysticism, or magic, or Divinity.  It is just how things work.  :shrug:

If I throw a rock into water, it will probably splash.  If I throw it at a person, with the intention of hitting them, likely case say they will not be very happy with me. Just life man.  Do good with right intention and good will come to you. I do not see how superstition comes into this, or god for that matter.

If I yell at someone, that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to ever come back at me in any way.


Likewise just because he used an excuse to miss the test doesn't mean that he will or will not face any consequences.

Just look at some of the most evil men in history, many of them lived great lives up until their death.

Well, the fact that he saw OP could be enough reason to not allow a re-take of the exam. If the OP purposefully missed the exam(by walking in class, and then walking out); can't really do anything about that.

Exams are meant as universal tests to see if the students did their job and prepared for them; for the people who miss class, or don't check their syllabus- tough luck.

By your logic, you're comparing 'some of the most evil men in history' out of all men who ever existed. There are always exceptions to the rule; but in general, people who are dicks to others, do not get treated the same as people who are altruistic.

Of course there will be exceptions to that too; like selfish people taking advantage of altruism, but as a whole, no.

But when you look at the actual vedic/hindu beliefs on the subject, all they're talking about is simple cause & effect.

its not like i dont have my shit together hella tight like you do, im graduating .

Im a senior at a university, and the class is a supply chain management course (basically all math so it isnt conceptual, cant guess). I have had him before, and got a B in the class, so maybe he remembers me. Wish me luck today when i go see him in his office hours.
