put the cakes back in the chamber at about 2:00am, that makes a full 24hr dunk, i forgot to roll them though i was in a hurry, should i go back and roll them or just leave them be?

total dry weight for the first flush was 25.3g

I would roll them...gotta take care of your babies!  Roll them and them mist the verm and get it wet...

well there's a few pins coming out can i still roll them?

also, one of the cakes has a "mucus" spot growing, looks like a loogie....i think maybe it's from the water dripping on to the cake?  should i scrape it off?  toss it?

if i can still roll these i'll do so tonight, if not i'll wait til next flush

either way, the entire project has already paid for itself, so anything i get from here is just an added bonus  and much needed experience

skippy thanks for all your help, i'll continue to update this as long as these cakes live....and i'll be knocking up the pink buffalo jars soon

Brain,
Just get the cakes wet by putting them in water for a sec or spraying them down...then just kinda drop the verm on them or very lightly roll them to not disturb the pins too much...It is def worth it to get the verm on them. Plus your second flush can sometimes grow fatter shrooms! Puttin the verm on them with pins is not that hard, just try not to disturb the pins too much...I have done it before with no issues.

ok all done!  the pins weren't that big so i sprayed the cakes down with tap water and rolled them in the bag gently for an even coating, then sprayed again, don't think i disturbed anything

i noticed a couple suspect spots on some of the cakes....but now that i rolled em it's kinda hard to see potential contams?

they're all pinning again, not really uniform, but again, better than nothing. ...really hope this flush is better, kinda got my fingers crossed.

judging by my somewhat succesful first grow, what would you guys suggest for substrate for those pink buffalo?  i only have one syringe and i'd like to do at least two monotubs if i can

Brain,,,yeah you can make an LCfrom your pink buffalo syrine. I just made one from a PE syringe.  Anyways im just a cake maker right now, so i can't really tell you much about the other substrates.  Any cubes will grow off of BRF/Verm cakes. I can tell ya that!  So are ya gonna print those babies?  Anyways off to get me some greenery.  Peace  :peace:

cool beans, what you smoking on skippy? :gethigh:

about the print, i'll definitely take a print off this flush

some shit has come up and i can't start the pink buffalo for a while.....i can make the LC then just stash it in the fridge for a while right???

the GT's will continue until the cakes aren't producing anymore, or contams take over.

i won't be posting pics for a bit, lost my (fucking expensive) phone in the river today.....shit luck i'm having lately

......life goes on      :bigblunt:
