Official Consolidation Time?

Ive been searching around on here for an official consolidation period for a friend of mine but have not come across an official time to wait from 100% consolidation to fruit a cake. Some threads mention a week, others say 2. Whats been your personal experience as far as an optimal time?

Lets say he let them go for 2 weeks. Would there be any gain. His room temp is at 76 degrees for what its worth....

A week does it, if you (he) notice any pins, then it's ready to birth.

harvest no later than when the caps have fully opened.
a day or two after is fine.
but keep towards that.

For cakes, a week has always been more than sufficient. Sometimes 4 days has been enough.
2 weeks *maybe* if I had a really thick bulk sub that was consolidating.

^Don't know why you mention fruiting.

7 days for PF cakes.

For bulk trays, I fruit as soon as I see 100% colonization and I usually have pins within 5-8 days, depending on what genetics I get.

For monos... ??
