Yellow and milky ID

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Under mixed hardwoods in leaf litter over sandy soil (coastal Carolina)

Gills:
Close, attached and crazy milky white when cut. pale yellow in color

Stem:
Flesh thick and tough, pale yellow, 2 inches long

Cap:
convex, stains brown when cut

Spore print color:
In progress, I'll post when I get it

Bruising:
just milky and browning

Other information:
slight, but unpleasant aroma... fishy maybe

I figure lactarius (are there others not in the genus that exibit the milkyness?)and I did my best to key in on it: L. volemus?

your right its probably a Lactarius sp
