So my first experience on shrooms was fantastic! I think I did well (took about 60 grams wet)and im going to double the dosage tommorow. Its like you can analyze anything and everything and every object is really something else

haha slow down man.  yes you have finally realized the power of the mushroom, but now you need to realize the other aspects of it. 

first, i would highly suggest you eat the mushrooms all at one time, instead of two smaller doses spaced out.  you said you ate 60 grams fresh for your first time, which would blow me fucking away if i ate that much of my shrooms, and i am very experienced with em...and now you are thinking of taking 120 grams wet tomorrow??  thats just a waste of mushrooms, and you're setting yourself up for disaster.  tolerance comes and goes quickly with these guys, yes, but don't underestimate them.  60 grams wet, with a blunt, for a first timer is crazy.  but this leads me to believe your mushrooms aren't that strong or its because you spaced out the doses.  60 g fresh will knock most people on their ass, and begin a spiral of internal communication....120 grams wet is a huge dose, even with tolerance, and can turn on you very quickly.

secondly, i would also highly suggest that you take a little time in between your trips.  give yourself time to think about the trip.  try to recall things you were analyzing.  think about ways to make your trip better.  was there something that you really wish you had around or had done while you tripped that you didn't get to experience last time?...things like this.  to me, the tolerance thing is the mushroom's way of saying "hey don't take me for granted and don't abuse me."

all in all, its excellent that you had a good time on one of the most beautiful natural drugs in existance.  you will get better at knowing your mushroom trip and therefore better at guiding it in the direction you want.  just respect that mushroom, and it will show you infinite wisdom you never knew about.

Yeah I have never done shrooms but I have also come to the conclusion that my B+ shrooms are not all that potent. Also, I don't want to abuse the power of the mushroom but I do want to trip again soon. Also, how do I properly store them? Just put them in a ziplock bag? Whats the best/easiest way to dry them?

I'm tempted to eat those 40 g I have, should I eat them?

be patient young grasshopper!  give at least a week before you down em...i know its fun, especially when just getting into it, but trust me, take a little break.  that anxiety build-up and excitement throughout the week knowing you have some mushrooms to eat next weekend will help with having a great trip when the time actually arrives.


those 40 grams, when dried, will be about 4 grams, which is an excellent amount for a good trip.  if dried properly, they will be no more than slightly less potent.  if they are just picked, put them on a screen or newspaper, and place them underneath a fan blowing directly on them for half a day or so.  once fairly dry to the touch, they will have shriveled up quite a bit, but will still be able to bend.  now, you have to get that last bit of moisture out, as you want the shroom to be COMPLETELY dry before you store them, or they can develop mold.  you need to get them "cracker dry" as people say, so that they snap and crumble when you bend them.  to do so, you need to make a desiccant chamber...i use Damp-Rid.  do a search on that and you should be on your way to perfectly preserved mushrooms.  once dry in your desiccant chamber, put them in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid, like a mason jar or something.  i also throw in a little desiccant pouch to the storage jar to get rid of that little bit of moisture that may remain in the air.

if you truly ate 60g earlier today, and you eat the 40 g later today, then i will have to say no, you won't trip in the way you did earlier.  tolerance.  it will be noticable that you ate some mushrooms, yes, but it will not be as intense as earlier.  i have tried redosing later that same day and the second time was almost like a tease.  and to me, a mushroom trip that never really peaks is not enjoyable, almost tiring...

the rule of thumb for tolerance on these types of psychs is that if you take x amount today, then you will need that amount times 2 the next day.  however, in my experiences this is kinda shady, and doesnt always work the way you want.  i have eaten around 3.5g one day and the next took 7g and had a mediocre trip.  i have also eaten around 3.5 one day and like 5g the next and tripped my face off.  everyone is different, and mushrooms vary as well, so there are many factors.  think about it though...instead of maybe "wasting" that second dose of 7 grams or so, if you be patient and give it time, that 7 grams will be two trips down the road.  if you wait at least a week then your tolerance should be non existant, and your trips will be much fuller.

dude do a little search here on drying mushrooms.  plethora of information at your fingertips.

no, don't wrap them.  just place on top.  flipping them over after a few hours helps too.  a screen is better, it allows the air from the fan to circulate all around the mushrooms.  some people make a screen to lay over a box fan, lay the fan horizontally across two chairs, having the fan blow upwards into the screen of mushrooms.  the search function is your friend, my friend.

How the fuck do I dry shrooms?!?! I'm sorry but this is just getting to me. I mean I grew them and now I can't even dry them? Where do I get a screen from? If I put a fan on the shrooms wouldn't that blow them away? This shit is too complicated. I know I sound retarded right now

wait atleast 2 days, though best to leave it for a weak, its not good dong it all the time and it tends to loose its magic if done too often.

Dry your mushrooms with a fan then use descicent to get the cracker dry and store in an air tight sealed container with some silica gel packets.

its very much possible that it was just a weak batch, it happens with multispore.

I had a 30 gram mushroom which i made tea with and it failed to live up to a previous 20 gram tea.

How about this, put them on a paper plate and stick em on top of your DVD player for 2 days......

Do not stick them in the freezer.

You really do need to dry them. you can storm fresh mushrooms for a week in a BREATHABLE paper bag in the fridge, but after that, gross...
If all else fails, just put them in the oven at 150-200 degrees for an hour or so.

What I do is let them air-dry for a day or two, then put them in a Tupperware with toasted rice as a desiccant.

Dude, we don't know what suits you; that's something you need to figure out. Just get a little creative. Really, anything works, you don't HAVE to use a tek you read on the shroomery. Just dry the mushrooms...
