Hello Shroomery Patrons....

I found out about this community through a video on YouTube, and Ive been reading alot of posts, trying to learn.  I am a noob (cultivation-wise), so Id like to say thanks for such great information.  I plan to start my first project here soon, (once I figure out how to get spores in Cali), and I cant wait to post a report about it!


Anyone with advice please feel free to PM me.  Im new here so I dont exactly know the full protocol, but I hope to become a respected member around here.

Thanks again to everyone who provides such great info!

My advice would be to get spores from a wild mushroom. Perhaps take a road trip down to Mexico.

Read the rules of each different sub-forum here before you post.

Don't post asking which strain is the best.

Use spell check.

Always search using a few different key words before asking a question that has probably been answered 1000x times before.

Point out others stupidity and crack jokes.

That adds up to being an awesome poster!

Hmmm....Mexico makes me nervous lately. I dont know enough (yet) to identify wild ones anyways.  In fact even if I did read up on identifying them I probably would be too reluctant to try them. 

Then again, maybe its not as difficult as I might expect?  Ill look into it!

Get a guidebook, and spend a few hours looking through the shroom hunting forum... With enough research ID'ing shrooms isn't too hard, and you can even take a pic and have an experienced hunter here confirm if it's good or not!

You know....that sounds like a good idea.  I think the experience of hunting would even be fun come to think of it!  We did it once in Maui like 18 years ago, but I wasnt the one identifying them, so definitely a new challenge.

Of course it's fun! You go for a nature walk, maybe smoke a joint if thats your thing, enjoy the flora and fauna we tend to overlook, living in these fast, strange times...

Maybe find a nice couple meals worth of mushrooms, or maybe even some magic ones!

Can't go wrong shroom huntin.
