Fruiting?

I have a cake that was birthed 9 days ago after it was dunked for 12 hours. I fan 2x a day and since I don't have a humidity gauge, I rely on the fact that water condenses on the inside of the lid of my fruiting chamber to decide when its humid enough. I figure when the water does form, the humidity is ok. I use perlite for humidity and give it about 2 hours of light a day. I always add water to the perlite to keep it damp but not flooded. The chamber is a large 14x8in. non-see through tupperware and its airtight except for around the lid. My problem is that the cake has developed mycelial "spikes" but nothing that looks like pins yet. I birthed the cake 3 days after full colonization. Should they take this long?
Refer to my grow log for any other details: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Growlog&Number=1016283&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=all

Rawtoxic is got this one right. You'll have pins soon, just stop worrying about it.

I'll stop worrying when I find out if this is taking too long or not. I just need to know if its weird for a cake to take this long.

Yes, I've had a cake in the terrariu, even after I dunked it, that didn't show signs of pins for two weeks. So now stop worrying.

sounds like they're imminent! My first casing took five days to colonise, then 10 days in the terrarium to pin. 25 pins within 24 hours.
