I am ready to harvest my babies. However, Since day one there has been some white fuzz which for the longest time I didn't know if it was mycelium or cobweb mould. On some parts, according to the descriptions I read on this site, it looked like mycelium, while on others like cobweb mould. As of today, on the ground and on a few of the mushrooms there is this dark grey with a violet hue that has replaced the white fuzz from before. I have to harvest today since the caps started turning upward. Is it still eadible? Do I just remove the nasty stuff and munch away?
