I went stump hoppin' today! Hope you enjoy the pics.
Asterophora lycoperdoides
Inocybe lacera
Lycoperdon perlatum
Gerronema chrysophyllum
Entoloma abortivum?
Cystoderma
???
Russula sp.
Russula atropurpea?
Cantharellus tubaeformis
Agrocybe?
??? Growing from a live maple.
Hypholoma sublateritium Gandoderma tsugae
Laetiporus sulphureus
Hericium americanum
Armillaria mellea I met a bunch of Ukrainians with buckets, but I was faster and walked farther! Got about two pounds in the fridge. Anyone got any good recipes for this one?
And another landscape for Landsnorkler!

Great photos and finds zimmer.
The Armillaria are Armillaria gallica and the Cystoderma is Leucopholiota decorosa I think.
And those are Aborted Entoloma.

Leucopholiota decorosa is a nice find, haven't seen it yet this year
Agrocybe? is Cortinarius caperatus (=Rozites caperata) the one on the maple tree looks to be Hypsizygus ulmarius. What you are calling Gerronema chrysophyllum is Tricholomopsis decora (decora complex anyway) Your Asterophora looks to be A. parasitica. And ??? is a Lactarius, need odor, taste and latex color/staining.
It's nice to finely see some good pictures on this site...

If I can get DannyGlick and Y.c.a.e. to write it for me! Everytime I think I've learned something, I get smacked down! It's great!
Composition is my strong suit...Photography is NOT. I have a relatively cheap camera and spend all of two or three minutes photographing each mushroom, while holding my hyper dog on a leash. No bullshit!
Thanks very much Master Glick and etibem. Thank you Sirs, my I have another?

I called them that 'cause they were all powdery white on the caps.

They're everywhere now. I might go pick a five gallon bucket full of dog turds tommorow.
G. luteus are having their last fruit of the season. I found 3 new logs the day before yesterday.

I sat down on a log today and looked over to see what I'd say were G. luteus pins coming out!

Cool. Be careful though. Hypholoma fasciculare pins look pretty similar.
