Go to the paint section at your local Canadian Tire. Tell them you want to paint a closet but you need to get the moisture out of it. That should do it.

buy a small fan. get a cardboard box and add simple shelves with wire mesh. cut some air slats in the back and place the fan at the front of the box. spread out the mushrooms on the shelves. they will be dry wihtin 48 hours.

Hey Vorpal,

about a week ago i did exactly what you said to do, i went to the canadian tire paint section and said i wanted to dry out my basement closet so i could paint it, they told me to get a dehumidifiers those things cost $$$$$$, anyways for now i'm drying using a rack set on top my heat pad on the lowest setting, tommorow i'm gonna check out a new lead in the automotive section, and maybe try out the fan tek.

How big are these bags? i only want a small bag and not some bag with like 20 lbs of the stuff. do they come in small sizes so i have enough to dry 3 or 4 batches of shrooms. the damn verm is taking up so much room... i barely put a dent in that bag. i'm really not looking for any mass production here, just something for me and some friends to share. if not i guess, the fan tek will have to do. if i use the fan tek, will it get the shrooms "cracker" dry?
