I'm not sure whether this question belongs here, but I thought, you experienced cultivators would know about it:

I didn't see the spores of Maria Sabina's mushrooms at any vendor's. Or maybe they have another name than the latin one... although I doubt it.

Have one of you already cultivated it or know something about that strain.

As far as I know you are referring to the Huatla strain.
If not the Hualta then at best it could be the Matias Romero

I might be way off on this..but was MS?s mushroom a cubensis?
More like p. Mexicana?

They were Psilocybe caerulescens var. mazatecorum.

Native shaman consider dung inhabiting "hongos" inferior to the P.mexicana and P.cearulescens var mazatecorum. :tongue:WR

Cubensis are a recent import to mexico - traditionally they use and much prefer the mexicanna and P.cearulescens
