Cactus Snuff

I'm getting ready to trip again on 20" of T. Bridgesii (tomorrow night).  I Usually eat it raw, the dark skin and some of the light cream flesh, and put the other parts in a sludge jar for alkaloid extraction.  Im thinking of taking a razor blade and getting a pile of scrapings of the darkest green, and adding something like absinthe or vanilla extract to it, and put it under my tongue like snuff.  I've done this with powdered dextro-amphetamine and gotten off faster and harder than just swallowing it.  Since I have got used to chewing this cactus, I know I can survive the bitterness.  How about it?  Anyone tried cactus snuff, if so what did you use and how did it work?

Nope, but look forward to hearing your experience with it.

I have 2 bridgesii myself, 20" each, but only as thick as a redbull can. How thick are the 20" ones you're planning on using? Would enjoy reading your report afterwards. Hope the snuff goes well - sounds like a cool idea! :thumbup:

Mine are about the diameter of a beer-can.  I wrote a trip report already called 'Extended Peak Trip on T. Bridgesii'  hopefully I'll have another experience as good as that.  A little water in the mouth to hold it, I can bear the taste....

peyote tastes 1000 times worse than trichocereus tissue IMO. so much harder to chew. i think its that "spicy" dry feeling at the back of your throat that sucks the worst.

I just got my 2 cuttings out to prepare for tomorrow and found out that one of them is almost completely rotted black with cactus rot, the other one was starting to rot....  I only got 10" of good clean stuff.  :frown:  The good news is there is still a lot of junk to go into the extraction jar, and I have some quality skin to eat right now, enough for a moderate ego-loss trip.  To prevent losing more material, I have to do it tonight.....  so I am drying it some and will be starting to eat the snuff directly.  Unfortunately, I will also have to eat some of the lighter green underlying flesh which means more body load in terms of sick stomach...taking 50mg of dramamine...  but, at its cool....I got an extraction going and too more litres of sludge ready for extraction.  :tongue2:
