No.
Get Left 4 Dead 2 when it comes out.
Resident Evil 5 is also a pretty sweet game that just came out for PC. Or Batman.

I'm going to play...but should I start at 55 death knight, or make a whole new guy?

Make a whole new guy, death knights are played out and generally considered bullshit. Leveling is the only fresh thing the game has to offer really, endgame is like chasing your tail round and round. I'll be buying cataclysm to get to 85 and then clear some endgame until it gets stale again.

I used to play. Played since beta, and just recently gave it up. I realize I have far better things to do, because I let it fill my life up, for nearly 3 years.
I say fuck that game. When I heard the new xpac coming out, I was done. WOTLK is stale enough, and I've cleared 25 man ulduar. I called it quits when the stupid argent tourny patch came out, but I guess that's what you can call all of the patches since BC came out, stupid.
WoW before BC was excellent. So much fun, they just watered the shit down. I can't get on without being bored as fuck, so I called it quits.

If you've done it once before, you don't need to do it again.
It's still the same old stuff.

I reinstalled a couple weeks ago after over a year away from playing.
its fun. being able to dual spec alone is a nice change. no more running to the trainer to spec between shadow and healing for my priest. it can be done on the spot. it costs 1000gold for dual spec, but it was worth it.
wow is fun as long as you don't let it consume your life.

i have tried to play on about 3 different occasions with about 3 weeks in between each attempt at coming back...the game is just not fun anymore. totally burned out on it.

same here , kinda..
Ive played since launch. but probably have had 1 years of subscriptions in the 4 or 5 years its been out...
wow its been out a long time...
I find myself now able to stop playing, after an instance run or two..
I really don't see myself trying to "keep up with the Joneses" in the game. That is where it becomes an addiction..

lol... the phase when I spent the most time playing MMO's was when I worked a job. Working nights, and nothing else to do besides play games before I went to sleep, or watch tv, but games are interactive entertainment, tv is passive. Both can become an addiction.

I just like it because its a laid back game you can chill and play with other people around the globe.
I like the cartoony graphics.
It is easy to fall in the trap of spending too much time + energy on the drama involved between how people push buttons to play the game.
I find it confusing how drama can take place in a games chat system. it really has an effect on people.

I only played it for a couple months and I wish I could have that time back.
I started playing LotR Online for a month, but I wasn't really enthralled enough to continue with it.

No.
Play a real game.
Play Darkfall.

haha Darkfall.
play darkfall if you want a game that relys 100% on it's player-base for it's content.
Darkfall is a waste of time, IMO. you spend ages leveling, for PvP only.. I would rather play a FPS than Darkfall.

Yes its fun. I quit for about a year and came back last month.
--------------------
It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?

Don't bother playing again. It's pointless, I tried it...no fun whatsoever after a while.
