Shroomery Drama from a Sociological/Psychological Perspective
    #11125135 -

Not trying to bring the drama here. But this notapillow situation... really interesting. Reason I'm posting is from a sociological perspective this whole thing is really interesting. Watching how the people in the other forums are reacting to the situation, reacting to each other, it's really interesting.

Leave your opinions on the matter in other forums, I just made this because taking a step back and watching this develop is something I feel should be discussed. Mods taking sides, members taking sides, crazy.

Again, I don't really care how you guys feel on the matter, lets not drag this situation to this forum, just look @ the situation from a sociological/psychological perspective.

If a mod feels this should be deleted, please by all means do so, not trying to bring the problems out there into here.

All this time I've loved you
And never known your face
All this time I've missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs

Basically notapillows rabbit got killed by a dog. One of his roommates let their friend stay with them and he had a dog. The dog got into the rabbit cage, and mauled it. He tried to kill the dog, strangled it and whatnot. Not trying to argue whether this is right or wrong, not the point im trying to make. You can find the details in the other forums if you want the full scoop.

The point I'm trying to make is how people are up in arms over this. Just go into the pub, or OTD and youll see threads about it. Many of the threads have been locked/deleted apparently. But it's pretty crazy what it turned into. I'm surprised you havent seen anything about it. Unless you don't venture into the Pub or OTD. It's rather interesting how people are looking at the situation. Some trying to rationalize it, others just plain bashing the guy for his actions.

Some people are saying he should be de-modded, blablabla. Just a lot of drama.

People like drama I guess and we're a bunch of nerds doing what people do all the time here

But yeah I heard about the story previously. I think its pretty fucked up because I think a dog > rabbit ... but at the very least fucking up the dog afterward doesnt really accomplish anything except to vent anger from notapillow - I always thought he probably was a peaceful hippie

Not really talking about the morality of the issue. Talking more about how the people here are reacting to it. But if nobody knows the details and how people have been affected by it, then I guess theres not much to talk about here.

Clearly not you, but if you look in the other forums. A shit load of people care, that's what I was trying to discuss.

This is drama (INTERWEB DRAMA DAMMIT!), people are only reacting with some conviction because of their sense of "morality" - but its really just silliness and just wasting time on the interwebs  :whacker:

(like what we're doing right now  )

I think people would be saying differently if they were in his shoes. It's hard to be empathetic in a situation such as this. When all you see is red, controlling emotions is hard.

That's one perspective. I am here (in life) to transmit the highest and best that my Consciousness can become aware of. It is an act of creation to put my thoughts and feelings into words, and an act of love and will to communicate my soul and spirit to people on this forum. The only thing even remotely suggestive to me of whacking off on this forum is MushroomTrip's avatar.
