Ok I see now, In the initial post I was quoting there was no mention of you using two methods, casing and spawning.

I no linger do PF Tek because I find it easier to do grains for reasons of, I use agar now, G2G, and bulk spawning.

I don't know how you can say cakes suck thats a very dumb statement. And as for not crumbling I said he shouldn't because his cakes never achieved 100 colonization. And I am quite fine not casing my cakes i have been averaging out 10 dry grams a cakes which is not to shabby I would say;)

Cakes do suck. For me. Your experience may be different.

In your bulk guide for noobs, the boxes you have look weak, especialy when theres a cake there next to them thats almost got as many mushes as the boxes... It seems like if your using 3 cakes per case, your not getting much better results... how much does one of your 3 cake boxes produce?

The four trays have 3 cakes in them each, yes, but they were spawned to manure. I had fantastic results, you have to take into consideration I didn't have time to take pictures of every single flush. The other two trays were straight casings, and they were what impressed the group I was growing with. "Why didn't we just case them all to begin with?" was all I would hear from them

I responded with "We should have spawned them all."

It's all good, d00d. I did mention two methods, lol, casing and spawning.

I plan on moving on to grains, myself. Seems that they outperform PF TEK spawn immensely. Right now I'm doing rye flour cakes, which are doing well, when people told me not to bother because of endospores. You gotta figure shit out for yourself, you can't always rely on other people's information, especially when they seem to just be regurgitating what they hear on this site. I'm not talking about anyone in particular, so please don't flame me.

Bottom line is that I get better results with casing as opposed to fruiting cakes. This is just my experience, it may be different for you. Also, remember that I have lived in a PFTEK v1 world until now. My next grow will include shotgun style FCs. Results may be different using these FCs.

I just hate that I always have to fully explain myself when talking about this. I always get better results with casing cakes. It's that simple.

Ok so what I did with the rest of my jars is I flipped them upside down to see if they will start going again. As for the 1 cake that is going to get rolled in a couple hours, is it ok to put it in my FC with my other cakes? Or should I build a small pop bottle FC incase of any contams?
