Revived Mycelium?

Hi, about 6 months ago i inoculated a mixture of rice and vermiculite in the tek method.  I only had 5 jars and 3 jars immediately showed growth, then got the contam. and had to be thrown away.  The other 2 have shown no growth at all for 5 months and recently i had a heat lamp on next to them to dry some things for about 3 hours.  later in the week i noticed they started to grow, and no signs on contams.  Could this be because sudden rise in temp?
