Amanita Amerimuscaria

Was out taking a walk this morning, I found these growing right underneath a Pine tree in someone's front yard. Dunno if I'll eat them though, I've never tried an Amanita Muscaria. P.S. You can still see my Agaricus print from yesterday :P

They look similar to me.  Better light on the cap would help.  I don't see the colors I'm used to.

I tried to get better light on the cap but no luck really the bigger one is kinda faded and on It's way out but I've got the warts with yellow fading into orange on the caps. I'll try to get a decent shot quick.

The base looks exactly like every Amerimuscaria I've ever picked, but the color of that cap (it could definitely be the shitty photography) scares me. I'm interesting in hearing what TIs have to say.

picked a few the other day,Amerimuscaria is my fav mushroom, and from what iv found their caps can very in age alot. all the way from a tanish color to a bright orangeish yellow  to a light yellow. iv always heard the base of the stem is the key to them and the best way to tell the difference between look-alikes. maybe a full picture of the stem, or a SUPER MACRO shot of the volva would be very helpful.

Yeah the color of the pileus seems to white, ive seen A. amerimuscaria that have had their cap colors fade due to sun exposure but those seem white near the margin and brown in the middle, I have never seen that before.

With amerimuscaria that have been exposed to the sun for long periods of time the color looks more of a silvery color, not white.

If you could get some good "super macro" shots that would be great.

Any staining? yellowish stipe? could also be A. amerirubescens or A. flavoconia.

hmmm no staining or bruising sounds like a good sign..def could use more picture of the stem.

Was there an annulus? They look too brown to be A. amerimuscaria, perhaps A. multisquamosa.

Here's some more shots of the base, and of the cap. The one I found was on his way out I think that's why there is little orangeish/red left in the cap. The big one has no annulus left and the smaller one still didn't get big enough to get one yet.
