I have an area college that shows these with some Pink Floyd shows.Have any of you guys been?Is it a cop trap,fun, stupid,too crowded???I haven't even went sober but I am interested.Most of the previous post on this subject say people was going but they don't really come back and say how it was.

They used to have these type of shows in my city, never went to one, but heard they were pretty damn entertaining from friends that did attend.

We have Laser Floyd every week, and then a random artist every week or two.
I haven't been to one, but maybe I'll check them out sometime.

be carefull with those laser machines.

The venue i work in wont allow lasers, its just a health and safety nightmare.

Lasers need to be setup so theres no way that anyone can look directly at them, in other worlds lazes should be way above head height at all times.

Yeah, I've been to the Floyd Laser Light show a couple of times.

It's cool if you've never seen it, especially with 3-D glasses and a head full of acid.

They do the whole Dark Side/Wizard of Oz bit and they play other hits too.

i installed the light on the ceiling and also installed a tint round dome onto is to prevent blindness.

I'm making a laser tunnel projector by gluing a small mirror slightly tilted onto a mirror. That's spun on a motor.

I have a 110 mW blue-ray diode, an my friends have some higher power green diodes. We're gunna make some home-made projectors then trip sometime :awebig:

green diodes are the strongest light color.
i did something like that.
i combined all those colors and also made a setup to change the patterns.
i also angled the mirrors to cover the whole room with it.

right on man the glasses realy set it off.I went to the Floyd lazer show 2 years ago on two hits of liquid.GOOD TIMES I would highly recomend it to anyone tripping regardless if you like the music or not.

HELL YEAAAAAAAAH!! it's that even a question?!?! the Miami museum has one of the BEST laser light shows ever.. I've seen 'em all.. all the albums of the Beatles, all the album of pink floyd.. they're SO worth it... best is going on 4 stamps and watching the light show to the Animals album from Pink Floyd.. Once "Dogs" start playing, you're done for it.

GO TO IT! soooo worth it.

It's a sit-down show.

Everyone gets pretty zoned out,

some on lazers, others on drugs.

I wish I could have seen a lazer show to Animals like Xpander mentioned.

That's my favorite Floyd album, that or Meddle.

Live at Pompeii is a good documentary filmed in the Meddle days.

to be honest, going to the light show on ecstasy does nothing for me.. it's really boring to be honest.. maybe that's just me? i like socializing and dancing on ecstasy, and Pink Floyd doesn't cut it for me..

but on lsd/shrooms is a completely and totally diff story! deff worth checking out

and swyfTY.. Echoes live at Pompeii has to be one of the songs i love listening to most while fucked up!! the Pulse version of Great Gig in the Sky is also AMAZING...

add a little of Dogs, and shine on you crazy diamond and that's all you're going to need for a good trip to outer space =P

Yeah, I don't even listen to much Floyd anymore.

I was big into them, Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, and Phish about 15 years ago.

I listen to a lot more ambient, funk, classic r&b, jazz and hip-hop nowadays.

Yup yup! good taste in music!! I'm pretty young still so i still have lots of years of music exploration to go through.. right now I'm into 90s hip hop [notorious, mobb deep,a tribe called quest, wutang, nas] jazz is a favorite too, i use to play it in middle and high school... but I'm getting more and more into ambient music like aphex twin and really deep house, like acid house, smooth house.. it's a really cool genre, amazing smoking music too.. so groovy and deep and atmospheric! amazing..

Im all about that dub-step, that shit is rediculous.  I love it.  But yea definitely go to the lazer show.  Its not a trap, cops wouldnt go within a hundred yards of a floyd show.  Theyd get high off the music alone for god's sake.

Went to a Several Species (Pink Floyd cover band) locally a couple weeks ago. The light show was the best I've ever seen. If you get a chance to check these guys out, go for it.
