WORTHINGTON, Ohio — Investigators said that they made more than a dozen arrests on Thursday and were charged with dealing drugs.

Many of those arrested were recent high school graduates, under 20 years old, and most of them still lived at home with their parents, 10TV's Cara Connelly reported.

The arrests started at about 6 a.m.  More than four law enforcement agencies were involved in serving the warrants and bringing the people who were arrested to Worthington police.

Investigators said they had recovered balloons filled with heroin, along with prescription pills and marijuana.

They also said they recovered at least one assault weapon and a stolen handgun.

Some neighbors said that they could not believe there were drug dealers living near them.

Police said that they feared the drugs were being sold to high school students.

Investigators showed Connelly a bag of brown heroin, which is cheap.  They said that many teenagers are becoming addicted to it.

Police said that their investigation started in July and more arrests were possible.
