Internet Activism as Regards Prohibition

If you guys want to see a truly gelatinous river full of human dumb. Several of us who try and find prohibitionists on the internet to debate with have found a place called the Turlock Journal. the specific thread where we are 'debating' is http://community.turlockjournal.com/blogs/detail/34/

If you have a few extra minutes, go and post there. It is like fishing in a barrel with an atomic weapon. Just go and be respectful...and engage in no name calling. Just see the mudslinging that this group of good Christian prohibitionists will engage in...all the while without hardly ever engaging in the actual debate.

Its good clean fun for the whooooole family!

My apologies if it against the rules. When I saw your post, I went to the rules and couldn't find anything to that effect. Is that really the official policy now? If it is, then I'll delete the post...post haste. Please direct me to where it says that.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I don't know about anyone else though, I find it endlessly cool how well informed, and very, very bright the 'legalizing crowd' is. What I didn't realize until I began to engage this debate more deliberately with prohibitionists is how uninformed they are. It honestly surprised me how mean-spirited, and hickish these people tend to be. I just never really understood what level of raw, unadulterated goofiness they will descend to to try and defend their point.

I suppose I have just been naive up until the last year or so.
